Turkey for lunch...
Kate got her cranberries!
Beautiful!
I get no respect...;-)
Fish and Chips for dinner. Yum!
And now...now begins a new season- the beginning of the Christmas season. In my family, it's a tradition that Christmas doesn't officially start until after the last bite of Thanksgiving dinner has been taken. Then someone hollers, "Put on Kenny and Dolly!" (Christmas CD), and the new season is begun. Even though we weren't in our usual place this year, I made sure we keep that tradition. It brought a smile to my face and a good feeling to my heart. Yes, said I, Thanksgiving is born in the heart... Thank you Lord for a good day!
Seasons. Life has it's own seasons. In whatever season you're in in your life, here is my wish for you:
“May God give you...For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile,
for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share,
for every sigh a sweet song, and an answer for each prayer.”
