The Hungry Pig Story-- Another Grammy made this up story...

Once upon a time there was a Papa pig, a Mama pig--and their son, HUNGRY pig. Now, Hungry pig was always hungry. And so every time mama pig went to the store for groceries, before she could even make one meal, Hungry pig would devour them all so that Papa and Mama pig hardly ever got anything to eat. Have you ever seen a skinny pig? Well, that's what Papa and Mama pig were... as skinny as a pigsty rail!
 "Oh Papa", said Mama pig, "what are we going to do?"
"If Hungry keeps eating up all the food, we're going to starve to death!"
(It never occurred to them to put Hungry on pig-out...)*snort*
"Now, now, Mama, said Papa pig, "we'll figure something out, don't worry you skinny little head."
Just then, Mama pig had a wonderful idea!
"Hey, Papa", she said, "I know what we can do! We can go out to eat for every meal. That way Hungry can't eat up all our food and we won't starve!" 
"Well now, said Papa pig, I think that just might work. Let's give it a try."
And so, that's just what they did. But after about a week, they discovered that eating out was very expensive. And seeing as how they only had so much cash in their food envelope, eating out was causing a major cramp in their budget. They would have to think of something else.
"Well, since we can't eat out, what are we going to do now?", said Mama pig.
" I  know!" said Papa pig. "Sam is hiring down at the Deli and I think I could talk him into giving Hungry a job. That way Hungry could earn enough money to buy his own food, plus, he would be able to eat at work too! Then, we can buy groceries for us again-- and, stay within our budget too!"


And so it was...
Hungry got hired at Sam's Deli, and Papa and Mama bought groceries, and never, ever, missed another meal again! *snort*
